Your workday as a university lecturer Work tasks include program and course development, teaching and supervision at undergraduate and advanced levels, as well as research and active work to seek external research funding. The position also includes participation in collaboration projects as well as administrative tasks and possible trustee assignments within the University. Research is conducted with the support of internal and external funds and is directed toward questions about sustainable working life. Common themes include labor market transitions, inclusion, working conditions and work environment, as well as inequality, gender equality, governance, and leadership. Are you the person we are looking for? We are looking for a doctoral researcher with experience in research and teaching within work science or a related field. You need to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both oral and written. The work is largely conducted in teams and in collaboration with the surrounding society, which requires good cooperation skills, initiative, and a high degree of independence and responsibility in the role of university lecturer. For this position, the following is required: Completed doctorate degree in work science or a related field Experience teaching at various levels within work science or a related field Experience supervising theses or degree projects Demonstrated teaching excellence through varied educational contributions such as planning, course delivery, and evaluation Ability to teach in Swedish and English Breadth and depth in research, with clear connection to work science and sustainable working life National and/or international publications in well-renowned scientific journals Experience applying for research grants in national and/or international calls It is meritorious if you have: Experience as a principal applicant in national or international calls, and particularly meritorious to have received external research funding with a focus on working life Experience collaborating and building networks with researchers and the surrounding society Experience administering research projects, educational programs, and courses focused on working life Experience in academic leadership Documented eligible higher education teaching qualification corresponding to SUHF's recommendations. It is important that applicants who lack eligible higher education teaching qualification are given the opportunity to acquire this competence as soon as possible. Assessment criteria The University will in this recruitment consider the person who, after a qualitative overall assessment of scientific and teaching excellence and other qualifications relevant to the position, is deemed to have the best prerequisites for performing the tasks of the position. Equal attention will be given to the examination of teaching excellence as to scientific excellence according to HF Chapter 4. A teaching demonstration will likely be applied.
