About the Support Assistant Role As a support assistant, you will work providing individually tailored support to people with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point. We work with a salutogenic and educational approach, based on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affect interaction to create safety and predictability in users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget. Qualifications High school education in child and recreation programs, care and nursing programs, or post-secondary education such as nursing assistant, support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field. Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills, experience with documentation. Experience working in health and care. Class B driver's license. Meritorious if you also have Experience in psychiatry, psychotic illness. Training in AAC and/or low-affect interaction, NPF, IF. Worked with complex support needs and comorbidity. Employment Terms Employment type: Fixed-term contract Degree of service: 50-100% Work hours: 06-23.00 with on-call sleeping duties Start date: By agreement; we view positively if you can start soon and work during much of the summer Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
