In our operations, we meet children who need coordinated and comprehensive measures preceded by application and investigation. In our work, we focus on our target groups, investigating and coordinating measures based on evidence and knowledge-based methods in collaboration with other societal actors. The operation consists of four units: a children's unit, a youth unit, a unit for measures and specialized functions, and a unit for foster care and contact services. Three teams work with child investigations, two teams with youth investigations, and one intervention team, plus intensive investigations, foster care/contact services, family treatment/parental support, and administrative tasks and other support functions. Each unit is led by a unit manager and the operation as a whole is led by a department manager. We work family-oriented and team-based according to our target groups. We are now seeking a social worker for the team working with youth at risk for criminality who wants to be challenged with us and be part of our exciting development. Your assignment Social worker in investigations for ages 12-17, specializing in youth at risk for criminality. You will investigate children and young people's need for protection and support, and follow up on approved measures. We work in close collaboration with the young person, their network, schools, and police. The work is supported by BBIC, SAVRY, and Signs of Safety. The work includes close collaboration with internal and external partners. The Youth at Risk for Criminality team has existed since 2019, and the case managers have good experience in social work and with our target group. The work requires adaptability as both work methods and approaches develop as new laws and regulations are enacted or new research is released. Your qualifications Social Work degree Experience, minimum one year, working within the social service's authority, in the area of children and youth 0-17 years Ability to organize, plan, and coordinate work Correct Swedish in speech and writing Knowledge of BBIC Knowledge of Signs of Safety Training in SAVRY/Earl is meritorious Driver's license is desirable Your competencies As a social worker with us, it's natural that you enjoy collaborating with others but also that you can work independently. You easily build good relationships and are clear in your communication. You have good knowledge of relevant legislation, child development, and keep up with current research. You have the ability to limit your assignment and work calmly and methodically when those around you are stressed. We are looking for someone who can see possibilities in complex social work, easily collaborates, is flexible, curious, and has the child's best interests in focus. Currently, a remote work agreement is in place that allows you to work from a location other than the office two days per week, in consultation with your colleagues, if operations allow.
