We are continuing to build our resource team within elderly care and social services, and are now looking for more dedicated nursing assistants who want to be a reliable and flexible resource in our operations. The resource team exists to ensure that there is always competent staff available during short-term absences, and you will become an important part of a team that makes a real difference! JOB DUTIES As a nursing assistant in the resource team, you will work as a short-term and long-term substitute in several different operations, such as: • Home care • Care and service housing • Group housing and service housing • Short-term care for children and youth • Personal assistance • Day activities You will become a familiar and appreciated face in the operations and contribute with security, experience, and expertise. The role includes, among other things: • Personal care such as hygiene, meal support, transfers, and communication • Health and medical care tasks by delegation • Observation and reporting of changes in health status • Participation in daily tasks, activities, and social interaction The work involves varying working hours. We plan the schedule together before each period so there are good opportunities to influence this. In your application, you can describe which times you can work. Our workplace is based at Drottninggatan 1 in central Mariestad QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Has approved nursing care education, preferably with the protected professional title of nursing assistant • Alternatively has other relevant education, such as the children and recreation program • Ideally has experience from both elderly care and support for people with disabilities • Has good nursing care knowledge and preferably experience with low-affective care approaches • Has knowledge of alternative communication methods (meriting) To thrive in the role, you need to be: • Flexible and comfortable with work potentially changing on short notice • Responsive, calm, and stress-resilient • Independent but also a good team player • A person with great patience and a professional demeanor • B-driver's license and access to a car required.
