We are centrally located at the home care office from which all home care in the municipality operates. We provide home care throughout Kumla Municipality and use both bicycles and cars as work tools. 8 position(s). WORK TASKS As a nursing assistant in home care, you will have varied, challenging, and flexible work. You will meet service users in their own homes. They are of all ages, at different stages of life, and have different needs. You will perform services in our service users' own homes. The services are determined by assistance decisions according to the Social Services Act (SOL), for example personal care and activation, but can also include tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) performed through delegation and on assignment from a nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist, for example administering medication. We work from a health-promoting approach with a focus on preventing risks and taking measures when needs arise. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is motivated to provide support and care to others and who has the ability to meet our service users with empathy and respect. You are responsible and thorough and have personal maturity. You need to be able to communicate in a structured manner. You also need to be able to create, read, and follow up on implementation plans and, based on your medical competence, assess situations and implement appropriate measures. Since the work requires communication and documentation, you need good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. Good IT skills are also beneficial, as is experience with documentation systems such as Life Care. To work as a nursing assistant, you need to have approved final grades as a nursing assistant and a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding the protected professional title. Since we are recruiting several nursing assistants for all home care teams, you need to be able to cycle. We also have vehicle-based home care teams where you need to have a Swedish driver's license.
