Description The Care Administration is seeking home care assistants. Permanent position at 100% with start date by agreement. Job Responsibilities Work in home care involves providing good care and service to users in their own homes within the framework of assistance decisions according to the Social Services Act. You will also perform health and medical care tasks following delegation or instruction from nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. The position is currently in home care, but employment is with Tanum Municipality, which means you may be transferred to another part of the organization if needs change. Qualifications Vård- och omsorgsprogrammet (Care and Health Program) with advanced courses in "Care and Support for Dementia" and "Health and Quality of Life for the Elderly," or equivalent education as assessed by the employer. Approved grades in Swedish 1 and Social Studies at upper secondary level. We place great importance on your experience in care and health work, but also value good collaboration skills and personal suitability for working in someone else's home. To perform the work satisfactorily, you must have good planning abilities, be flexible and independent. A driver's license is required. Terms Tanum Municipality applies individual salary determination. Requirement to hold a protected professional title as home care assistant or be covered by transitional provisions to be offered employment.
