About the Workplace Garverivägen care and housing facility is located in Älvängen. Here there are 50 homes divided into five units, focused on dementia care, somatic care, and the municipality's short-term housing unit. As an employee at Garverivägen, you will work on all units, but you will have a "home unit." We are now looking for 2 new team members: one for one of our dementia units and one for one of our short-term housing units. Job Responsibilities With us, you and your colleagues support older adults so they can live as independently as possible. You need to have a holistic view of the person and understand how our approach creates security in uncertain times, where you become an important person for our elderly residents. Your work involves supporting older adults so they can live their lives as they wish. You are attentive to their requests. The content of your workday varies. Your work is centered on the older adult, and together with the person you support, you plan the day. Your work includes practical assistance with personal care, support with meals, support with activities, and more. We work with the whole person and therefore collaborate with other professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, as well as with family members and other important people in the older adult's life. Your responsibilities include tasks that give you the opportunity to think and act holistically. We hope you have great commitment and find it easy to collaborate, plan, and organize work together with colleagues and your unit manager. This position suits you if you can work irregular hours and want to contribute to meaningful work for people who need support in their daily lives. You have very good knowledge of social documentation, medical records, and creating care plans. Qualifications We are looking for you with training as a nursing assistant, who is motivated by challenges and wants to help develop elderly care. You find working with people stimulating and fun! You master the Swedish language in speech and writing and have good computer skills. Language tests may be used. You will be part of a team where your ability to collaborate is just as important as working independently. We are looking for you with good manners and approach. You have the ability to create security and calm even in stressful situations. We see that you take responsibility for contributing to our operations with a positive attitude. We actively work with activities and respect each individual's wishes about how they want to live their lives.
