Together as a team with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, we work around the resident to provide a good life every day. We are looking for you with a genuine interest in elderly people, where your main responsibilities are to provide safe and secure personal care and support. You support the resident in their daily life and create conditions for a safe and meaningful everyday existence. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing residents with good quality care and support in accordance with what has been agreed with the resident in the care plan. This includes, among other things: Work as a contact person based on Norlandia's "My Day" concept. Personal care and support and utilizing residents' own resources. Work based on Norlandia's "Tasty Meals" concept so that our residents enjoy the food and meal experiences add sparkle to everyday life. Documentation in accordance with the Social Services Act; maintain social records and create and follow up care plans. Plan, offer, and conduct daily activities, outdoor time, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc., both individual and group activities. Perform service tasks such as apartment cleaning, laundry, accompaniment, and shopping. Receive and carry out delegated tasks such as medication delegation. Take responsibility in ombudsman roles. Actively participate in the facility's quality and improvement work. About Fryken Elderly Care Home Fryken is located on Rud in Karlstad. Fryken has 47 places, distributed across 5 units, for people with dementia. We have staff around the clock, and our vision is to create a good life—every day for our residents. We have common activities every weekday in our gathering hall Solglimten and activities on the units every day and at the individual level once a week. Fryken has walking groups that offer our residents outdoor time every day. On weekends, our residents are served hotel breakfast, and every Saturday a 3-course dinner is served.
