We at Norlandia Elderly Care are looking for you – a nursing assistant/care worker who wants to work full-time/part-time during all or part of the summer at Hedegården Elderly Care Home in Stenkullen, Lerum. As a nursing assistant/care worker, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful life in their senior years. We always start from the resident's own wishes and abilities and focus on what is healthy. As a nursing assistant/care worker, you are responsible for providing dignified and high-quality care based on the elderly person's individual needs. Typical work tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support with activities, meal service, and light cleaning in residents' apartments. You will get to participate in everything from educational care activities to enjoyable activities for the residents. A truly exciting and rewarding job! We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We appreciate if you enjoy working with people, collaborate easily with others, and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed. It is a merit if you have nursing assistant training (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 credits. It is highly desirable if you have previous experience in elderly care. It is a requirement to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We appreciate if you have good computer skills/experience and experience with documentation. About Hedegården Elderly Care Home Hedegården Elderly Care Home is beautifully located at the forest edge in Stenkullen, Lerum. The property features interesting architecture with large windows that create a very bright and airy atmosphere. There are good public transportation options, with both bus and train access, as well as free parking outside the elderly care home. Hedegården has 56 apartments distributed across six units. We offer apartments for somatic and dementia care.
