As a nursing assistant/care aide, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful life in their senior years. We always start from the residents' will and their own abilities and focus on what is healthy. As a nursing assistant/care aide, you are responsible for providing dignified and quality care based on the elderly person's individual needs. Common tasks may include help with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support with activities, serving meals, and light cleaning of the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. A very exciting job, simply put! About Hagtorp Retirement Home On May 15, 2026, Norlandia Elderly Care will take over the operation of Hagtorp, a pleasant retirement home located in Kungsängen in northwestern Stockholm. We offer 36 apartments for both permanent and short-term residents with generous common areas and a peaceful courtyard. With us, the elderly live in a safe and homely environment with a focus on food, health, and community. Our guiding star that permeates our work is to offer our residents a good life – every day. With us, you can get your salary and work schedules directly on your mobile As a summer substitute with us, you get access to Cappy – a smart app that gives you an overview of your working time and salary. In the app you can, for example, see worked time, earned salary, preliminary salary payment, information about available work shifts, and how much you can earn on an extra shift. With Cappy, there is also the opportunity to withdraw part of earned salary for extra shifts/hourly work immediately after the shift is completed. Who are we looking for? We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. And that you find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed. It is meritorious if you have nursing assistant training (or equivalent training) of at least 1350 points. It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care. It is a requirement to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We would like you to have good computer skills/computer experience and experience with documentation. Other information Employment form: Summer temporary position Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment Start date: June, July, and August 2026 We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements.
