Båstad Municipality has a newly built short-term care facility in Förslöv. If you want to help us make a difference in people's daily lives, we welcome your application. We are looking for a specialist nursing assistant or nursing assistant with a big heart and commitment, who has a rehabilitative approach and wants to be part of performing Båstad's most important work. To be able to provide the best care to the short-term care facility's patients and service users, we are looking for someone like you to do this with us. Haga Park's short-term care facility with 18 single rooms is aimed at care and service users with various medical conditions who need rehabilitation, assessment, relief, recovery, palliative care, etc. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As an employee, you will work to provide support and care in daily life based on the care and service user's needs, abilities, and wishes as outlined in the care plan. This includes, among other things, help and support with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meal situations. We place great emphasis on a rehabilitative approach to create a meaningful daily life and provide security for care and service users. If you are also a person who likes to share your knowledge and experience while being open to learning from others, we see this as a task for you. You will collaborate not only with your colleagues in short-term care but also with other professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Your daily work includes ongoing documentation and you actively participate in systematic quality work. At the short-term care facility, we use a team-based and rehabilitative approach. You have strong commitment to people and enjoy working by encouraging and supporting care and service users' abilities based on their conditions. You are responsive and have the ability to adapt to different situations that may arise. Working hours are night shifts on weekdays and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant or specialist nursing assistant. If you have experience with similar work tasks, that is a merit. You always put the care and service user's individual needs in focus. As a person, you are positive, engaged, and unpretentious, have a professional manner towards care and service users, relatives, and colleagues. You are also flexible, thorough, and responsive. We work both in groups and independently, so it is important that you function in both settings and have the ability to take your own initiative. You have a solution-focused approach and as a colleague, you want to contribute to creating a good work environment with dialogue and participation. You are aware of the purpose and importance of documentation, reporting, planning, implementation of services, follow-up, and evaluation towards the set goals. You speak and write Swedish fluently. Good computer skills are needed as all documentation is handled with IT support. You can accept delegations of health and medical care services. The short-term care facility has a large flow of admissions and discharges, so it is important that you are flexible and can handle varying pace with diverse work tasks.
