The Role of Nursing Assistant In this role, you are responsible for providing nursing care and social support tailored to each resident's individual needs. By offering attentive and professional interactions, and by planning and carrying out daily activities, you contribute to creating a safe and pleasant living situation for the residents. Night shift: You will be employed on a full-time position, but you will work 34 hours and 20 minutes per week. You will work according to a schedule set for nighttime and every other weekend, plus time for workplace meetings (APT). Before a job offer is made, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record register must be provided. The type of register extract to be requested is Work in homes with elderly and people with disabilities. Work in homes with elderly and people with disabilities, e-service | Swedish Police Authority Background checks may be conducted before employment. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. When employed as a nursing assistant, you therefore need to provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant.
