Your Workplace The Intensive Care Unit has six care beds and is responsible for medical intensive care and intermediate care. We who work in the department are nursing assistants, intensive care nurses, and registered nurses. We enjoy our work, are quick to laugh, and are characterized by caring for one another and having high professional pride. Once a month we plan to have lectures or other skill-development activities. Opportunities are available to take wellness leave hours. We offer you an individually tailored introduction based on your needs and knowledge. Your Responsibilities In the ICU we care for patients with serious medical conditions. Nursing assistants, ICU nurses, and anesthesiologists work as a team to provide the best possible care for our critically ill patients. Within the unit we also have a recovery room where, as a nursing assistant, you will help with staffing. In the ICU we work extensively with various types of medical technology and as a nursing assistant you will assist with different types of examinations; experience with this is an advantage. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with at least one year of professional experience. Experience from inpatient care is a merit. We see that you are a stable and flexible person with good teamwork skills.
