JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for you to work with us in Horred Home Care Service! Horred Home Care Service has been named one of Sweden's leading home care teams for several years in a row, based on user surveys from the National Board of Health and Welfare. As a nursing assistant/care worker in home care, you will: • Work closely with the individual and be a support for them in their everyday life. • Perform care and support work in people's homes. • Motivate and stimulate individuals based on their individual circumstances, needs, and wishes. Services are granted based on assessed needs and can vary from personal care, mealtime support, assistance with social activities, and collaboration with relatives. • Serve as a care contact and plan, carry out, document, and follow up on care work with the person who needs support and assistance. • Perform certain delegated health and medical care tasks. We work according to the Social Services Act and the national value base with a focus on the individual's needs. The work involves providing social care and nursing based on a health-promoting approach, which includes utilizing the individual's resources and recognizing the strengths of each care recipient. Our work team values good cohesion and a positive work environment. It is also important to us that we have fun together and that all employees have an important role to play. Work hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. QUALIFICATIONS You should have previous experience with care and support work in elderly care. It is an advantage if you are a trained nursing assistant and have previous experience working in home care services; however, this is not a requirement for the position but will be prioritized. We require a valid driver's license as the activity is located in one of the municipality's outer areas and we collaborate with nearby services based on flexible placement. We are looking for someone who: • Has a positive outlook and is both professional and confident in your professional role. • Has strong commitment and interest in the target group and the ability to meet people in a professional manner. • Is calm and clear in your communication, attentive, and able to motivate service users to preserve their abilities and independence. • Easily adapts to changing circumstances and new information. You can work independently, make your own decisions, and plan and reprioritize work when needed. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and recognize the entire operation's needs. • Can identify your own development areas and take responsibility for acquiring new knowledge. • Have good computer skills as documentation is an important part of our work. You must be able to communicate and express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Interviews take place on an ongoing basis.
