Responsibilities Work as a nursing assistant in home care is independent, responsible, and varied work—one of Sweden's most important jobs! As a nursing assistant, you have a significant role for our users and work in their own homes. You will get to know the users and their relatives well, which provides good continuity. Your duties include providing personal care and services and supporting the user in managing their home. The role also includes serving as a contact person/primary care contact. We work in a person-centered manner and plan interventions together with the users. Your duties include establishing and following up implementation plans, ongoing documentation, answering and addressing safety alarms, reporting deviations, and performing delegated and instructed work tasks. We work in teams around the users and you will collaborate with nurses, occupational therapists, unit managers, planners, benefits administrators, and other home care teams. Work is scheduled for daytime, evenings, and weekends. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: • is a trained nursing assistant • has computer skills • has a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish • has a B driver's license and can/is allowed to drive a car and can cycle. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working in home care and/or experience with the systems Life Care and/or Procapita. You have a genuine interest, empathy, and a sense of care for people. You are attentive and have the ability to adapt your work style based on the user's individual needs. We expect you to have a professional approach and the ability to build trust and establish good relationships with users, relatives, and colleagues. The role requires that you are good at planning and organizing your work. You also need to be able to reprioritize when necessary. Since the role includes working independently, you are confident in your professional role and in acute situations. You have a good ability to collaborate, are responsible and independent. You are open to new ideas and have the ability to find solutions and opportunities in different situations and during changes. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
