About Fridhemslund Fridhemslund is a residential facility with 80 apartments on four floors. 40 places are for general care and 40 places are for dementia care. The facility is located close to nature and the sea, with convenient access to public transportation. We work with a standard schedule, which means you will work days, evenings, and weekends. We are a dementia-certified residence, which means everyone who works here is trained in dementia care and person-centered approaches through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. This means a team of young people aged 14–18 visit us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents. We work with animals in care and have regular visits from therapy dogs. As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important! Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and understand what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to treat people with respect. You work closest to the residents and therefore have a key role in the team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
