Österbo is located in the heart of Perstorp and is a residence with 54 places for our elderly citizens who can no longer live in their regular homes. Of the 54 places, 4 are short-term/respite care places. Our residents are elderly people with varying care needs based on declining cognition/dementia/mental health issues and somatic illnesses. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant with us, you will work closely with our service users and contribute to creating high quality of life through professional and respectful treatment. You will, among other things: Provide care and support to elderly people according to individual needs. Work with people who have dementia, cognitive decline, mental health issues, and complex medical conditions. Contribute to creating an active and meaningful everyday life for each individual service user. Work person-centered with a focus on participation, self-determination, and security. Collaborate with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and relatives. Actively contribute to the organization's development and change initiatives. We are looking for someone who Is a certified nursing assistant with a protected title. Has at least 2–3 years of experience working in elder care. Has experience working with dementia, cognitive decline, multi-morbid elderly patients, and/or psychiatry. Has good ability to work person-centered. Is organized, takes responsibility, and is solution-oriented. Enjoys collaborating and sees yourself as a team player. Is flexible and dares to think outside the box when the situation requires it. Sees change as an opportunity and wants to be part of developing the organization. You must have good knowledge of Swedish and be able to communicate fluently in both speech and writing. We will request an extract from the Police Register of Convicted Persons before any employment.
