We are now seeking experienced nursing assistants with medical experience for municipal primary care/home healthcare in Mönsterås municipality. With us, you work close to patients in their home environment with a clear focus on healthcare tasks, in close collaboration with registered nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other care staff. We are moving toward an organization with stronger patient continuity and specialized efforts within dementia care and palliative care. You will join at a stage where you can influence how this takes shape. 2 position(s). DUTIES The role is broad with a clear medical focus. You work with delegated healthcare tasks in close collaboration with the responsible registered nurse. Duties vary based on patient needs and may include: • Sample collection • Wound care and dressing changes • Vital signs monitoring • Medication administration • Bandaging and compression therapy • Patient observation and reporting of condition • Management of CAD and suprapubic catheters • Infusion line dressing changes • Bladder scanning • Administration of pre-filled injections • PEG management • Vaccination assistance This is work that requires precision, medical safety, and the ability to communicate observations clearly to the responsible registered nurse. For documentation and record-keeping we use Lifecare and Cosmic Link. Experience with these systems is meritorious, but we always provide thorough training. Duration: Indefinite. Working hours: The position is scheduled for daytime hours according to schedule. Individual salary setting applies. Salary range: 28,000 - 38,500 kr/month. The position is suitable for both newly graduated and experienced nursing assistants – salary is set based on your combined experience and competence within care and healthcare.
