The Health and Social Care Administration is seeking a nursing assistant for home care and special housing in Hoting and Tåsjö. The position is in the Hoting Tåsjödalen production area and includes both day and night shifts. The area has one special housing facility in Hoting and one in Tåsjö, as well as a home care team. 4 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nursing assistant, you will work to support people in their daily lives based on support decisions and implementation plans. The responsibilities are varied, but some of the most common tasks include the following. • Helping in the home with cleaning and laundry, making beds, shopping, and cooking. • Personal care includes help with showering and using the toilet, getting dressed and fixing hair, or assisting with meals. • Part of your assignment is to enrich the daily lives of those you help through various activities. This could be extra social time, taking a walk, or playing games. Only your imagination sets the limits. • Medical tasks such as checking blood pressure, applying bandages, or administering medication. However, this requires delegation and is something you will learn as you go. Through workplace orientation, you will be given the conditions to perform the work required by the position and follow the workplace rules and municipal policies. The work involves collaborating with various people such as colleagues, managers, users/care recipients, and those around them, and contributing to a good work environment for everyone. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and/or has experience working with elderly people or people with functional variations. You are responsible, have a clear approach, and can work independently. Collaboration with others is an important part of the work, so good teamwork skills are essential. You are confident in yourself and feel comfortable working with people who have a great need for security, continuity, and structure. You have computer skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish, as documentation regarding individuals' general condition and important events is part of the job responsibilities. For home care work, a driver's license is required. Employment type: Permanent position. Duration: Indefinite.
