About the role As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintenance work within the areas of Axelent AB and Nordic. You work both preventively and reactively to ensure that facilities and equipment function optimally and that work is performed according to applicable internal and external requirements. The position involves close collaboration with production, maintenance colleagues, and external suppliers. You report to the Maintenance Manager. Your main responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: • Perform reactive and preventive maintenance as well as general inspections. • Document completed work in the company's maintenance system Maintmaster. • Be attentive to unusual sounds, deviations, and other signs of malfunction and act proactively when needed. • Maintain contact with external suppliers and service partners. • Support work in the spare parts warehouse when needed. • Participate in and drive continuous improvement initiatives and document implemented measures. • Oversee purchasing of consumables for the maintenance department. • Maintain good order and cleanliness in the workplace. • Refurbish and restore components and spare parts. • Train and support other staff on maintenance-related matters when needed. We are looking for someone who • Has technical education or equivalent experience in maintenance, mechanics, electrical work, or automation. • Is solution-oriented, responsible, and has a strong focus on safety and quality. • Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. • Has a structured work approach and good documentation skills. • Is engaged in improvement work and wants to contribute to the company's development. • Has good communication skills and is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • It is advantageous if you have welding experience. You work proactively by identifying deviations and improvement opportunities before they develop into larger problems. The role requires precision and structure, especially regarding documentation and follow-up of completed work. You have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, while also collaborating well with colleagues, production, and external suppliers. Since you also contribute to training other employees, it is important that you can communicate clearly and share your knowledge.
