About the Position We are now seeking a maintenance mechanic for an established manufacturing company in Smålandsstenar. This is a temporary staffing assignment with excellent opportunities for permanent employment with the client for the right person. As a maintenance mechanic, you are responsible for ensuring the operation of the company's production equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization. You will be an important part of the operation and work closely with production to create efficient and reliable processes. Your responsibilities will include: Operation and mechanical maintenance of production machinery Troubleshooting, adjustment, and optimization of machine equipment Installation and commissioning of new machinery Analysis and improvement of machine performance Work with hydraulics, conveyor belts, robots, and chain drives Some facility maintenance and technical upkeep What We're Looking For Experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or process industries Good knowledge of machinery and mechanical systems Ability to work independently on troubleshooting and problem-solving Basic electrical knowledge Fluency in Swedish or English, spoken and written Valid driver's license (Category B) Forklifttruck certification is an advantage. As a person, you are responsible, proactive, and solution-oriented. You enjoy taking initiative and have a genuine technical interest.
