Within Alleima and Division Tube, the Nuclear Production Unit develops and manufactures seamless tubes made of advanced stainless steel and special alloys, primarily steam generator tubes and cladding tubes used in power generation worldwide. We are also at the forefront of future solutions for energy production. We are now seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team. Your Role As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will work to maintain and develop production equipment with a focus on ensuring high operational reliability, optimizing OEE values, and creating cost-effective solutions. You will follow up on completed work and actively engage in analysis and improvement initiatives to develop the operation. The role also involves taking on additional responsibilities based on your expertise and the operation's needs, in consultation with your direct manager. This is a day shift position, but shift work may occur as needed. Your main responsibilities include: · Work with preventive maintenance by creating, implementing, and developing PM plans · Perform corrective maintenance to ensure high operational reliability · Monitor and actively contribute to the development of the maintenance process · Support the planning and preparation process · Document work, time, root cause, and improvement suggestions in the maintenance system · Follow up on completed work and initiate improvement measures · Contribute technical expertise to investment and renovation projects Your Profile We are looking for someone with upper secondary education in maintenance workshop mechanics or similar field, and several years of relevant work experience, preferably in heavy industry. You have good IT skills and use digital tools as a natural part of your work. We also see it as a great advantage if you hold a forklift license and elevated work platform license, as well as certification in hot work. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, characterized by your strong collaboration skills and attention to detail. You are a responsible, self-directed individual who is motivated by solving problems. It is essential that you are technically interested and have broad technical knowledge within industrial facilities and a good understanding of established maintenance and repair methods. You work in a structured manner on improvement initiatives and actively contribute to increasing the facility's efficiency and safety. In this role, you are expected to share your knowledge while remaining open to learning from your colleagues. With the help of available documentation and a logical approach, you have the ability to independently analyze and solve technical problems.
