Join our team as a Measurement Instruments Manager, where you'll handle complex issues both internally and externally. You'll lead improvement initiatives within Tools & Instruments, ensuring our processes are efficient and fit for purpose. The role also involves updating and maintaining standard documents and technical documentation related to instruments, as well as reviewing documents in PLM2020 to ensure accuracy and compliance. How You'll Make a Difference Participate in development projects and monitor Tools & Instruments interests in R&D initiatives to ensure instruments are deliverable throughout the product lifecycle. Define and monitor quality requirements, and ensure that proper maintenance documentation is developed and made available from development to delivery. Drive improvement initiatives and cost reduction within the technical and logistics area. Support business development and long-term planning by facilitating standardization and orderability of equipment. Collaborate with users to decide on equipment changes that streamline on-site work, in consultation with the Instruments Forum NU/FS. What We Require Solid background in instrumentation and experience handling complex technical issues. Proven ability to drive improvements and reduce costs within engineering or logistics. Good communication skills to collaborate with various people and groups. A willingness to mentor new and less experienced colleagues in the instruments field. Advanced English required to communicate effectively in your work. About the Team Tools & Instruments (T&I) is part of the Field Service organization and functions as a Site Support organization. We're responsible for procurement, maintenance, calibration, and delivery of equipment required for installation, commissioning, service, and measurements of gas turbines and steam turbines globally. T&I is a competence center for tool and instrument rental for our Medium Gas Turbines, as well as part of Steam Turbine and Heat Pump operations. The office consists of three departments: Workshop/Logistics, Order Administration/Planning/Technical Support, and Calibration/Instruments. You'll be part of the Technical Support team, which currently consists of five employees. Within the Gas Services division, we offer energy solutions with zero or low emissions based on our gas turbines brought together under one roof, along with steam turbines and generators.
