Do you want to work as a personal assistant and make a positive difference in people's lives? Personal assistance is a service provided under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your work tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to a smooth daily life. About the Position We are now seeking a personal assistant for an almost 11-year-old girl who lives with her family just outside Karlstad. Your workplace will be in the girl's home, and it is therefore important that you respect the girl's and family's personal privacy. We are looking for someone who sees themselves working long-term in the role of personal assistant and wants to build a good collaboration with the girl and family. The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore seeking someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive in this role, we believe you are a playful, cheerful person who has patience and calm. As a person, you enjoy working with children and young people, have ideas, and collaboration comes naturally to you. We are looking for someone who is empathetic and compassionate – you understand others and easily put yourself in their shoes. We also believe you are secure in yourself, create stability, and thrive in calm environments. We are now seeking someone who meets the following criteria: will work for an almost 11-year-old girl living just outside Karlstad have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written have a Class B driver's license and access to your own car are a non-smoker It is also advantageous if you: have experience with NPF diagnoses have experience with Tobii and Snap Core have experience with epilepsy have experience with tube feeding Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Employment Rate, and Salary: The current employment form is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment rate of approximately 35%. Work hours are scheduled during daytime and evening, on weekdays and weekends. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date April 30, 2026 or by agreement. Working at Humana A requirement to begin employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a register extract from all employees who will work as a personal assistant to a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to provide an extract from the police criminal record register and suspicion register prior to a potential employment.
