JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to work at a state-of-the-art school that is relatively newly established? Then we have the job for you. At Paradis School, we are now seeking three positive, engaged, and qualified teachers for our recreation center program, with certification in a subject such as PE, or alternatively a PE teacher with assignments in our recreation center. The school is located in a beautiful natural area close to most amenities. In winter, we offer ice skating, sledding, and year-round the forest is a natural part of our instruction. The schoolyard offers fantastic opportunities for various activities—only imagination sets the limits. Our interior spaces offer spacious modern areas with the latest technology. Paradis School is a grades F-6 school. After summer, we expect to have approximately 230 students divided into two different departments: one for grades F-1 and one for grades 2-6. As a person, you must enjoy challenges and changes, as our conditions change with each school year start due to changes in student enrollment. At the school, under the same roof, we also have an adapted school with which we collaborate. In your position, depending on your competence, certain collaboration may be possible. Through your good leadership, you create security and stimulating days at school with goal-focused activities for our students based on the curriculum. You conduct development work together with our other staff and create good and meaningful recreation activities. As part of your position, you may serve as a resource in classrooms during the day, where you work with the classroom teacher focusing on good study environment and high goal focus. If you have certification in a subject, independent teaching may become relevant. You will be part of a well-functioning work team together with other qualified recreation center teachers and other educators in the recreation program. Through collegial discussions, you create the best conditions for our students together. QUALIFICATIONS As a person, you should be flexible and solution-focused in your approach. You should be skilled at building relationships and have a positive attitude toward students, guardians, and staff. You should create a good learning climate for our students with high goal focus. You should have good ability to plan and implement excellent, varied, and stimulating recreation activities for students. You should continuously evaluate and reflect on your activities. We are seeking someone who is educated and licensed as a recreation center teacher or has equivalent qualifications with experience. Employment type: Permanent position.
