About Us Isakssons Markteknik is a construction company rooted in Kalix. We work with the production and sale of ballast as well as new construction and renovation of roads. With our own production, we deliver everything from raw rock to finished product. Our business is growing and we are now seeking a structured and solution-oriented Transport Manager who wants to be a key person in our daily operations. About the Role As Transport Manager, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing our transportation of ballast, materials, and goods to both internal projects and external customers. The role also includes sales, customer management, and actively identifying new business opportunities. Beyond operational planning, you are also responsible for personnel, including work supervision, scheduling, and daily follow-up. With us, you get to combine logistics with the freedom to build relationships, find new customers, and develop our services. You are the hub between customer, driver, and business – and you love it! The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize, and composure even when the pace is high. Your Main Responsibilities Plan and manage daily transportation of ballast, materials, and goods Coordinate drivers and external transport providers Ensure deliveries are made according to schedule and customer requirements Maintain ongoing contact with customers, foremen, and production Actively work with sales, quotations, and customer follow-up Handle deviations, rescheduling, and urgent needs Monitor transportation, capacity, and resource utilization Responsible for scheduling, staffing, and work environment in daily operations Contribute to efficient workflows and good logistics throughout the organization Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who thrives in a role with many points of contact where problem-solving is a natural part of everyday work. You are structured, clear, and have strong decision-making abilities. We would like to see that you have: Experience in transport management, logistics, or similar role Industry experience from construction, building, civil engineering, or transport is a plus Good computer skills and ability to work in planning systems Ability to work independently and take responsibility Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach It is a plus if you have a CE driving license and YKB certification.
