Krösatågen AB is being established and is now seeking a Traffic Planning Manager who wants to take full responsibility for leading strategic traffic planning in an operation where collaboration, analysis, and long-term thinking are essential. About the role As Traffic Planning Manager at Krösatågen AB, you will have a central role in developing, leading, and coordinating strategic traffic planning for a regional rail system of major social importance. You are responsible for the capacity allocation process, TRAV agreements with Trafikverket, and the long-term planning of traffic, capacity, and implementation. At the same time, you have an important responsibility in the short term when traffic is not functioning as intended, where the company needs to follow up both the delivery of traffic and the agreement with the traffic operator to ensure it functions in accordance with what was agreed. The role operates in a complex environment where multiple regions, authorities, and operators need to work together – and where your ability to create structure, consensus, and momentum becomes crucial. This means you work on three levels simultaneously: strategic, tactical, and operational. In the role, you represent the client side in traffic and planning forums, lead the internal traffic group, and work closely with Trafikverket, the traffic operator, the owning regions, and other key stakeholders. You monitor punctuality, regularity, and capacity, drive the development of working methods and analyses, and help ensure that Krösatågen's traffic develops with high quality, good coordination, and long-term sustainability. The role reports to the CEO and is part of Krösatågen's management. Your profile We are looking for someone with several years of experience in traffic planning, strategic planning, timetable work, or similar activities. You have likely worked in roles where you coordinated complex issues between clients, authorities, operators, and other stakeholders, and you have a good understanding of how traffic, capacity, operations, and economics are interconnected. Experience from railways, public transport, or other critical infrastructure is highly valued. As a person, you are structured, analytical, and communicative, with a natural ability to build trust in collaboration with many different actors. You thrive in environments where a holistic perspective, precision, and long-term thinking are central, and you have the ability to translate analysis and planning into concrete decisions and improvements. You express yourself well in Swedish and English and have good experience working with planning tools, monitoring systems, and analytical materials.
