About the job At Tommy Nordbergh åkeri, we are looking for a traffic manager with solid experience in managing long-distance transport operations. We seek a traffic manager who is passionate about the work and has, through their experience, been able to create a close and clear relationship with their colleagues, team, and customers. Working as a traffic manager with us means working together with other traffic managers to lead and plan daily transports, which largely consist of domestic, temperature-controlled local and long-distance transports. As a traffic manager with us, you are responsible for daily operations. The work involves introducing new drivers, optimizing vehicles, and monitoring drivers' schedules and working hours. The importance of maintaining good dialogue with colleagues and drivers, as well as following laws and regulations, is self-evident to us. The work involves some customer contact and follow-up on completed assignments. The position includes scheduled on-call duty or shift work. About you We are looking for someone who is responsible and has leadership experience in the industry, as you need to have a good understanding of the customer's operations and the driver's work situation. You have leadership qualities, problem-solving skills, social competence, and an easy ability to collaborate with others. Competency Requirements Experience from the transport/haulage industry Solid experience in traffic management or transport planning Upper secondary school education Swedish and English in speech and writing. Good computer skills, Office package. Meritorious CE driver's license and experience from domestic long-distance transports and food handling. Post-secondary education in logistics or traffic management. Experience with TransPA and T5.
