We are now seeking hourly substitutes to fill our substitute pool. Fjällbjörken Preschool is a parent cooperative with a pedagogical approach focused on outdoor education and creative activities, where we encourage children to explore on their own. Our facilities are designed to meet our program's needs and inspired by Reggio Emilia. We have space for 20 children between 1-5 years old. Our grounds consist of a lovely mountain birch forest where we prefer to spend our days. We work toward sustainable development and want children to develop an appreciation for nature and its cycles. Our fundamental principle is respect for children's thoughts, feelings, needs, and interests.
