The Social Services Department in Askersunds Municipality is responsible for elderly care, LSS and care services, social psychiatry, services for unaccompanied children, and individual and family care. 5 position(s). JOB DUTIES We are now seeking temporary care workers with a genuine interest in working with people for our activities in Healthcare, Senior Care, and Functional Support. In all our activities, your main task is to help others feel better. You do this through social activities, providing support with daily tasks, and healthcare and care. You receive a lot of appreciation in return – a feeling that makes you feel good! Common job duties: • Provide personal care and support based on individual needs. • Work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. • Document in implementation plans and activity systems. • Collaborate in teams and with other professionals. Work in a person-centered and rehabilitative manner. • Perform healthcare tasks according to prescription and delegation. We will hire based on the needs and capacity of the activities, and the possibility of a summer schedule may occur. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you – a confident and engaged care assistant or nursing assistant with drive and forward-thinking who wants to help provide our users with a secure everyday life. We would like you to: • Be 18 years of age or older. • Be a trained nursing assistant or care assistant, or have relevant experience (meritorious). • Have a genuine interest in working with people and a desire to make a difference for the people you help. • Be responsive and have good interaction with users/care recipients, relatives, colleagues, other professional practitioners, and management. • Be responsible, flexible, and willing to learn new things. • Master Swedish in speech and writing, as Swedish is the common working language at the workplace. Many of your work tasks involve receiving instructions and passing on information in a correct and clear manner. You will cooperate and communicate with people from different linguistic backgrounds and are expected to contribute your experience and competence in a positive and constructive way. • Have good computer skills. • Enjoy working both independently and in a team. The work can be both physically and mentally demanding, which requires good health. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. A certificate from the criminal records register must be presented by anyone offered employment with us. You can order this from the Police website. For certain positions, a category B driver's license is required and you must be able to cycle. We would like our employees to reflect the diversity of society. Salary form: Hourly wage.
