Do you enjoy a job with highly varied tasks with clarity as the guiding principle? We are now seeking summer substitute caregivers who can work throughout the entire period of June, July, and August. I am a woman in my 50s who lives with my husband and cat. I have cerebral palsy along with an additional neurological condition that means I need assistance with everything requiring motor skills, strength, or coordination. My speech is affected, which means it varies in how easy I am to understand, but it usually comes down to time and patience, and it usually works out relatively easily. As my assistant, you will assist me in all aspects of my life. I need assistance with: Dressing and undressing Eating and drinking Movements that involve me standing (lift available if needed) All household chores Help in the stable to put on my gear and get on my horse with the help of a lift Fetching items I need within reach Accompanying me wherever I need to go, whether at work, in the stable, at home, or other activities To thrive as my assistant, these qualities should describe you well: You have no need for control and are completely comfortable being in the background until I need assistance, then returning to the background Understand confidentiality and discretion You are fearless and have your feet firmly on the ground Can accept constructive criticism You have no need to "take care of people" You speak and write Swedish fluently with a large vocabulary You do not smoke You do not use perfume or strongly perfumed products About the Position You will be employed as an hourly substitute caregiver, ideally starting as soon as possible but must be fully available during the summer period of June, July, and August. If everything works well, you can remain as an hourly substitute caregiver afterward. This is 24-hour assistance with awake nights. Shifts are scheduled 07:00-14:30, 14:30-22:00, 22:00-07:00.
