Job Responsibilities We are now looking for you to work as a temporary home care assistant! As a temporary home care assistant, work hours may be scheduled for day, evening, night, and weekends. You can choose whether you prefer to work days, evenings, and/or nights. The home care service area is in the Fjugesta town center and in the countryside. Daily work is planned digitally and services provided to clients are recorded via mobile phone. Most clients have digital locks at home that are opened with a mobile phone. We drive electric vehicles and diesel cars for work. We have electric bikes that are used for visits in the town center. Your main tasks will be: • provide care, support, and services to clients based on their individual needs • answer and respond to emergency alarm calls • perform delegated and instructed tasks from occupational therapists and nurses • documentation. To perform the home care tasks, you will need to: • receive delegation to administer medication. Before you can receive delegation, you must first complete an online course with a knowledge test to be assessed by the responsible nurse regarding whether your knowledge is sufficient • complete training in transfer techniques to safely assist clients with mobility • complete an online course in the documentation system • receive on-the-job introduction from home care staff, a minimum of 3 work shifts. Of course, all training is conducted during paid work hours. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: • is at least 18 years old • can speak and write in Swedish • has a driver's license for a private car and driving experience, and has no obstacles to driving • can ride a bicycle. It is advantageous if you have care training and/or experience working in home care or other healthcare, as well as experience working with people in different age groups. This role requires that you have a genuine interest in working with people. You are attentive and have respect for the fact that we work in other people's homes. You also need good planning skills and the ability to collaborate with others. You take own initiatives and see what needs to be done. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment Type: Fixed-term contract.
