Fisksätra youth center is now seeking an engaged youth coordinator with special responsibility for our music studio activities! About Fryshuset and Fisksätra Youth Center Fryshuset empowers young people to change the world through their passions. We create communities where young people are seen, heard, and valued – from culture and sports to social projects that address society's challenges. Fisksätra youth center is part of Fryshuset's operations in Nacka and serves young people ages 13-19. The youth center is a safe meeting place where young people explore their interests, build relationships, and develop as individuals. We work in a supportive, relationship-based manner focused on ensuring young people feel seen, heard, and have the ability to influence their daily lives. About the Role As a part-time youth coordinator responsible for music activities, you will work closely with young people and help build a vibrant program with a special focus on inspiring, coaching, and supporting youth in music and music production. The position involves approximately 5-10 hours per week. You will work 1-2 evenings per week, and occasionally on Friday or Saturday. Your responsibilities include: · Work operationally with the target group during evenings and occasionally weekends · Plan, promote, implement, and follow up on music and music production activities · Coaching, mentoring, and relationship-building work with young people · Ensure the music studio and equipment function properly and are handled correctly · Collaborate with colleagues at Fisksätra and other Fryshuset programs to create additional opportunities for young people to grow and develop in music Who We're Looking For We're seeking someone passionate about working with young people and music. You have an inclusive and norm-aware approach. You are communicative, confident, and skilled at building relationships. You are initiative-driven, creative, and have strong collaboration abilities. Qualifications: · At least 1 year of experience working with youth · Competence in music and music production Meritorious: · Youth coordinator training or other relevant education (can be in progress) · Experience leading music activities for young people · Knowledge of critical norm awareness and inclusive approaches · Experience organizing events We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
