We work according to the principles of Health and Learning at Torslunda School and have been a certified Generation Pep school since 2021. Torslunda School is also a VI-school that, together with Linnaeus University, trains new teachers and after-school activity leaders. This means that we have several students in our operations during the training period. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES You will have a shared role and start the school year as a support teacher in the lower grades, primarily grades 1 and 3, to enable class division. Then you will move into a mentorship role for a grade 1 class during the fall term and through the end of the school year. You will be part of a team consisting of four other teachers in the lower grades, but since the school is small, we often work as one large group. Your duties include planning, conducting, evaluating, and documenting instruction individually and together with your colleagues. Collaboration with after-school activities occurs continuously throughout the school year. We therefore place high demands on your collaboration skills and ability to be part of a whole. Furthermore, you adapt easily and can maintain focus when conditions sometimes change. You contribute to a good working environment. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you, a qualified teacher authorized to teach grades F-3 with teacher certification. You have a natural interest in children, learning, and development work. You understand the importance of collaboration as an important means to improve the quality of instruction. You have a holistic perspective regarding different learning environments. We assume you have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents. You develop and improve both your individual work and your knowledge of collaborative work based on research and proven experience. To create successful teams, we are looking for you who are curious, open to different working methods, and flexible in your collaborative approach. As a person, you have the ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and can contribute to a good working environment. In your work, you are passionate about and good at keeping the student in focus. Furthermore, you have the ability to work in a solution-oriented, structured, and goal-directed manner. Together with your colleagues, you actively work on improvement and development projects to drive school development forward. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start: school year start August 2026, by agreement, end: 2027-06-16.
