Your Role The Surveillance business area offers effective solutions for monitoring and decision support, and systems to detect and protect against various types of threats. The product portfolio includes airborne, land-based and marine radar systems, signal intelligence and self-protection systems, command and control systems, as well as maritime and air traffic management systems. We are now seeking experienced technical project managers who want to drive both delivery and product projects. With us, you will have a key role in leading the integration and the overall management of complex system deliveries of some of the world's leading systems in our field. As a technical project manager, you have overall responsibility for ensuring that the project meets technical requirements within budget and delivers on schedule. The role involves responsibility for leading and coordinating technical activities in projects - both internally within our teams and externally toward the customer. Being a technical project manager also means: Lead and ensure progress on technical work within projects Responsible for customer and supplier contact for technical aspects Support the project manager with documentation for customer contacts Monitor project activities and ensure the project's commitments and progress through active leadership Coordinate and specify requirements for internal technical functions, including defining the project scope, timeline, budget and resource needs Have the ability to conduct system analyses of prospects from the Win Business phase, possess sufficient technical understanding to create documentation for cost estimation work, and also drive/lead design activities The work location for this position is in Arboga. Your Profile You are a person with solid experience in technical project management. You have an engineering degree, preferably at the master's level, and several years of experience with systems work. We believe that today you work as a systems engineer, lead engineer, architect or in a similar role in complex projects, where you have had a clear responsibility for technical direction, coordination and overall management. You have a good ability to find effective solutions and find it easy to navigate the organization and communicate with our internal suppliers to solve and prevent problems and challenges. The position also includes considerable communication with external customers, which requires good business acumen and good knowledge of both Swedish and English in writing and speech. Desirable qualifications include knowledge and work experience supported by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). It is also desirable if you have experience working in the defense industry. The position requires that you undergo and are approved in accordance with applicable security classification requirements.
