Internationella Engelska Skolan Huddinge is looking for qualified teachers in Music to join us, teaching Years 6-9. Internationale Engelska Skolan in Huddinge opened in 2013 and has around 500 students in Years 6-9. We are located between Visättra and Solgård in Huddinge, which is an area undergoing major development. We are looking for teachers with an enthusiasm for their subject, excellent classroom management, and a sincere interest in student well-being. In addition, you will be part of a year team (arbetslag) overseeing the academic progress and well-being of students. We are looking for a positive and creative team player who looks for solutions, shares ideas, and is open to learning from others. The role also includes mentorship of 16 students. Teaching at the school is in both Swedish and English, and we follow the Swedish national curriculum. Our student body is diverse, and to be successful in teaching at IES Huddinge, you need to have a good understanding of students' differences and the ability to adapt and plan well. Besides teaching, you will be the mentor of 16 students. Since we teach in Swedish for at least half of our instruction, it is highly valued if you are trained in Sweden and hold Swedish teacher certification. Experience teaching in Sweden and knowledge of LGR22 are also highly valued. At IES Huddinge, you are part of a truly international environment.
