We are seeking a certified preschool and elementary teacher for grades F–3, with a planned start in August 2026. Internationale Engelska Skolan in Norrtälje opened in 2024 and currently has approximately 400 students in grades F–9. As a member of our team, you will be part of a work group that works together to drive and develop the school. We work to ensure that each student feels safe and comfortable in a learning environment. We strive to awaken students' desire, engagement, curiosity, and creativity. Each student should have the opportunity to develop based on their individual abilities and feel confidence in their own capabilities. Teaching in Swedish takes place in Swedish, while English is used frequently in communication among staff. A probation period of 6 months applies. Your role with us As a class teacher, you will have an important role in supporting student learning. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction, you will also serve as a mentor and help students in their personal and social development. You will work closely with guardians, colleagues, and the student support team to give each student the best possible conditions to reach their goals. We are looking for you who - Are a certified teacher for grades F–3. - Feel confident in your professional leadership and create a safe and stable environment both inside and outside the classroom. - Value and deliver personal, clear, and balanced leadership with both control and student engagement in focus. - Are an enthusiastic and committed teacher with a strong desire to contribute to both student and colleague success. - Have experience working in schools and adapting instruction while working with student support services and special educators. - Feel comfortable teaching and communicating in both Swedish and English.
