Main Responsibilities and Tasks At Folktandvården Lysekil, you will meet patients of all ages with many different care needs. As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will use your full range of skills, while the position also demands creativity, empathy, and customer service orientation. This is a parental leave coverage position for approximately one year. The position includes: working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room. handling both simpler examinations and more advanced treatments, and to some extent emergency dental care. being the team's specialist in oral diagnostics. We currently have a total of 12 employees at our clinic who view it as a shared responsibility, where we help each other and enjoy working together. Feel free to read more about our opening hours and how to find us: Folktandvården Lysekil - Folktandvården (vgregion.se) Qualifications and Profile Licensed dentist Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient and thoughtful manner Ability to project a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a responsive way Contribute to the development of the practice by actively participating in the clinic's improvement initiatives If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of professional development. About the Recruitment Process The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application deadline, the clinic manager will review the applicants and invite selected candidates to interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 28. If you are an applicant with education/degree from another EU/EES country than Sweden and lack references, supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples may be required as part of the recruitment process.
