We are now a Super Municipality! The IT Department is a central unit within Lerum Municipality with 9 dedicated employees working in various specialist functions. The entire team works closely with the entire administration to ensure that IT solutions support the municipality's operations in the best way possible. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The IT Department is seeking an engaged and technically skilled systems administrator who will be responsible for managing and developing several of the municipality's central systems. As a systems administrator in the IT Department, you will have a varied and developmental assignment. You will support systems administrators in the operations with IT expertise. You are responsible for the technical aspects of systems administration while the operations are responsible for the business-related systems administration according to the municipality's systems administration model. You will ensure that requirements are set and followed up with system vendors to comply with applicable legislation. Here you will collaborate with colleagues who are specialists in information security and IT security. You will work closely with the municipality's external IT operations provider as a client/requirements owner, but also as support in dialogues between operations, IT operations, and system vendors. You will drive the implementation of technical solutions but also manage and develop them together with external partners. QUALIFICATIONS You have a university degree in IT or education that we consider equivalent. You need to have in-depth IT expertise with a strong understanding of how systems are structured and their components, how IT environments are built up with networks, servers, and IT security. You need to be solution-oriented and have the ability to find ways forward in complex challenges. It is also important that you work in a structured manner and can document your work clearly. Therefore, it is of great importance that you have a very good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. The work requires that you are good at communicating and can build good relationships with others, both internally and externally. You need to be solution-focused, goal-oriented, pedagogical, and unpretentious. You are comfortable standing in front of a larger group of people and speaking about your area of expertise.
