Are you a structured and business-driven person with experience or strong interest in procurement and logistics? Do you currently work as a procurement manager, project manager, freight forwarder, design engineer, or in a related field? Or have you recently graduated with a degree in logistics, procurement, or supply chain? Then you might be the person we're looking for at Swede-Wheel in Hillerstorp. As a Procurement Manager with us, you'll play a key role in ensuring efficient and sustainable procurement of primarily imported goods. You'll be responsible for tactical procurement work and will continuously manage transportation, customs matters, and supplier relationships—both nationally and internationally. The role involves close collaboration with several functions within the company, including sales, production, and product development. We're looking for someone with experience in the entire procurement process—from needs analysis and requests for quotations to supplier evaluation and follow-up. You have good system experience and are familiar with working in ERP systems. If you also have knowledge of international trade, freight, customs, or experience with Monitor G5, that's a plus. You have the ability to create structure, build strong relationships, and balance cost-efficiency with quality and delivery reliability. Examples of Work Tasks Plan and execute procurements. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers. Monitor and follow up on shipments from suppliers. Ensure that customs brokers receive necessary information for customs clearance. Review customs documentation. Work with classifying goods according to the tariff schedule for customs clearance. Review and approve invoices and match supporting documentation. Work closely with sales and product development in the creation and modification of products. Identify and manage risks in the procurement and freight process. Serve as a substitute for the production planner during planned absences. Examples of Good Experience for Success in This Role Several years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings. Experience handling international trade and customs matters. Good experience with ERP systems, preferably Monitor G5. Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Strong analytical and communication skills. Relevant education in supply chain management or equivalent experience. Personal Qualities Structured and detail-oriented with good decision-making ability. Strong focus on cost optimization and quality assurance. Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment. Team player with strong ability to coordinate with multiple departments. It is essential that you live within commuting distance to the factory in Hillerstorp.
