Welder at PKS Mekaniska AB Would you like to work in a modern workshop with advanced equipment, series production, and high technical expertise? At PKS Mekaniska in Kumla, you'll have the opportunity to grow in your role as a welder and become an important part of our continued investment. About the Role As a welder with us, you primarily work with MIG/MAG welding in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The work consists mainly of series production, but also includes some small-batch production. You work according to drawings and WPS and are responsible for ensuring that welds maintain the correct quality and tolerance. The role involves close collaboration with the production manager, supervisor, and colleagues in production. Your Responsibilities · Perform MIG/MAG welding in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. · Work according to drawings and WPS. · Handle welding fixtures and work in series production as well as small-batch production when needed. · Prepare materials (cutting, grinding, beveling) when necessary. · Measure and inspect welds according to requirements and tolerances. · Contribute to improvements and development of work methods. Who Are You? · You have experience with MIG/MAG welding. · You have good experience reading drawings and understanding tolerances. · You have good experience working with contract manufacturing. · You have experience working with welding fixtures. · You are meticulous, responsible, and quality-conscious. · You want to develop in your profession and contribute to strong production.
