Supplier Quality Manager, Level 4 We are now seeking an SQM with extensive experience in supplier quality/supplier development. For this role, we expect a profile that through long experience has acquired knowledge and expertise in relevant areas, which can help strengthen Procurement/Procurement Quality here with us during a challenging time. The role requires excellent knowledge of classic quality work, where experience in both production quality and supplier quality is meritorious. We expect practical knowledge of using classical quality tools as well as experience with LEAN/Six Sigma, PPAP, MSA, etc. Blueprint reading and knowledge of form and position tolerances as well as measurement techniques are important areas for performing the job well. The assignment also requires relevant education at college/university level or equivalent appropriate work experience in the relevant area, as well as good English skills (spoken and written). Your ability to collaborate and work in a team is crucial for success. Main Responsibilities: Ensure implementation of the company's procurement strategy, procurement policy and procedures. Quality assure purchased articles, materials and subsystems. Participate in and create procurement/inspection preparations as needed. Conduct audits of suppliers and products on-site at suppliers. Monitor suppliers' quality performance and drive corrective actions for suppliers that do not meet targets. Drive improvement programs together with suppliers. Handle complaints for materials that do not meet specifications and review suppliers' complaint responses. Handle deviations reported in production and act in collaboration with production quality personnel. Support younger/inexperienced colleagues and act as mentor as needed. Travel is a natural part of this position, and this takes place mainly within Sweden and Europe where the base of our suppliers is located.
