We are looking for a career and education counselor for our central child and student health department in Uppvidinge Municipality. We are an interdisciplinary team consisting of social workers, school nurses, a psychologist, speech-language pathologist, and special education teachers. The central child and student health department provides support to preschools and schools' local child and student health work when it comes to developing student health work at an overarching level. We also coordinate professional development and skills development for staff in preschools and schools. Our focus is preventive and health-promoting child and student health work based on equitable education, increased goal achievement, and safety and study peace. Welcome to us! 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a career and education counselor who wants to be part of developing our work for our students in primary school and in the introductory program. The central child and student health department primarily works in a health-promoting and preventive manner. In the role of career and education counselor, you shall be active and involved in students' schooling at Uppvidinge Municipality's primary schools and introductory program. You will have contact with students, guardians, teachers, and other school staff, as well as representatives from the business sector and education sector. In working with young people, both individually and in groups, guide and motivate students during their studies and for their continued education. You have a genuine interest in students' development and their role in future society, and you will organize students' practical work-life orientation programs (prao). QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with a career and education counselor degree. You are responsive and can adapt your counseling and counseling methods based on different students' and student groups' needs and goals. You are well familiar with current governing documents and ethical guidelines and actively contribute to school development and help us reach our goals. You collaborate closely with school management and are part of schools' local student health teams. A driver's license is required. Salary form: Monthly salary.
