About the role: As a strategic procurement manager, you step into a key position where your decisions impact finances, delivery capacity, and the entire production flow for years to come. You work "at the front of the bus" – close to suppliers and in close collaboration with production, engineering, quality, and the rest of the procurement organization. You drive procurements, negotiations, and long-term supplier relationships at a strategic level, ensuring that the right materials, the right suppliers, and the right business terms are in place at the right time. The role combines technical interest with business acumen, relationship building, and proactive improvement work. We are looking for you with: • Post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, supply chain/procurement/logistics, or industrial economics • Strong interest in technology • Good Excel skills, and preferably experience with Power BI • Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written To thrive in this role, we believe you are communicative, with an ease for building trust and collaborating with many different people, both internally and externally. You have good organizational skills, are thorough – especially when it comes to data and export control – and have the ability to handle a day-to-day that isn't always plannable down to the last detail. You are curious, dare to ask questions and challenge when something doesn't seem optimal, and you enjoy taking initiative and driving improvements. Additionally, you feel comfortable leading meetings, standing "at the front" with suppliers, and gradually growing into a clear negotiating front-line role with support from the team.
