Your Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for managing parts of Siemens Energy's supplier base, working with selecting, developing, and managing suppliers while ensuring long-term and business-focused collaborations. You will drive procurement-related matters both strategically and operationally and play an important role in contributing to efficient processes and sustainable business solutions. You will work closely with both internal and global procurement teams and participate in developing and implementing procurement strategies tailored to the organization's needs. The role also involves significant responsibility in negotiations, supplier dialogues, and development initiatives within procurement. Your responsibilities include, among others: • Develop and drive procurement strategies for commodities and specific suppliers within your supplier base • Collaborate with global procurement teams to contribute to and implement global strategies where relevant • Negotiate contracts, price lists, and major purchase orders (POs) • Manage supplier-related escalations and support tactical and operational procurement in various situations • Drive and participate in cross-functional development projects to streamline procurement processes and working methods • Build and develop long-term relationships with suppliers and internal contacts Your Profile We are looking for someone with a university degree in engineering, economics, or equivalent work experience. You are analytically minded and comfortable working data-driven, with experience handling and analyzing information in tools such as Excel. You have a business-oriented approach and a strong ability to see the bigger picture while working in a structured and results-focused manner. You are someone who thrives in collaboration with others and enjoys building relationships and working across functional boundaries within the organization. To succeed in this role, we believe you are driven, solution-oriented, and maintain a high level of service in your work. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing, and have good technical understanding. It is advantageous if you have prior experience in procurement or commercial work and knowledge or understanding of the welding field. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone with high social competence, strong customer focus, and a professional approach in dealings with both internal and external partners.
