Description Arjeplog Municipality is seeking a person to work as a Support Assistant at LSS Regnbågen, a residential facility for children ages 0-18 with disabilities covered by the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities. Job Description Work at Regnbågen involves a pedagogical and salutogenic approach with the child at the center. Structure and activities based on the child's needs and circumstances. Support for the child includes all daily situations, ranging from personal hygiene, meals, cleaning, daily activities, social and government contacts, leisure activities, to the development of implementation plans. It is of great importance to ensure the individual's participation and influence. Certain healthcare interventions may occur. Personal Qualities Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. The work requires that you are flexible, have a sense of responsibility, and can work both independently and in a group—good collaboration skills are a requirement. For you, all people should have equal value and be treated respectfully. You should be positive, creative, and have a pedagogical approach. You have the ability to see needs and resources in the children. You need to be calm, persistent, and clear in your body language, with good and respectful conduct and a salutogenic approach that means you work based on the individual's abilities and resources. The work requires that you can work both independently and in a group. You speak and write Swedish fluently. Other: The schedule includes work shifts with sleeping on-call duty. Qualifications Education: We are looking for someone with experience in similar work tasks. High school education in a healthcare program or training as a nursing assistant is meritorious and is a requirement for the position of support assistant. Support Assistant/Support Staff at Regnbågen is a current shortage occupation. To receive this bonus, you must be registered in Arjeplog Municipality during these 3 years. The salary bonus is paid when employment exceeds: 12 months with 15,000 kr, 24 months with 22,500 kr, and 36 months with 30,000 kr. Also the opportunity to apply for a relocation bonus that means that a person with adequate education who gets a job in a shortage occupation and registers in Arjeplog can receive a bonus. Maximum 30,000 kr after verified documentation. The bonus is proportional to your employment rate.
