What We Offer You We are now recruiting support educators for our residents - Rådmansgatan 1 and Lötgatan. The work teams at Rådmansgatan 1 and Lötgatan group homes have recently undergone changes and developed a safe working method where the needs of residents are central. As in all professions where you work with people, no two days are the same, even though we have good planning as a foundation. We are trained in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and actively use this in our daily work. We view our workplace as a learning organization where discussions and constructive feedback are a natural part of work. Through supervision and training, we have built an open climate that we value maintaining. During 2026-2027, the employer will offer several professionally relevant training programs. Workplace learning with APT as a forum is central to us; a lack of pretense and collegial support are prerequisites for us to thrive and succeed in our mission. Job Description As a support educator in a group home, you provide our residents with support in their daily lives based on a pedagogical approach. At both facilities, work is scheduled during day, evening, and weekend shifts. At Lötgatan, on-site night shifts also occur. Care and support are provided based on the individual's needs, integrity, and self-determination. We work closely with licensed personnel, relatives, and legal guardians, which places high demands on your ability to meet different individuals based on their specific needs. In your daily work, you are expected to administer medication and insulin delegations. Together with your colleagues, you work to involve the individual in their own daily life within given circumstances. You will provide support for individuals with diagnoses within neuropsychiatric conditions and intellectual disabilities. Interventions vary between compensatory and supportive. As a support educator within Support and Service, you are responsible for: Ensuring that guidelines for social documentation are followed and that the quality of implementation plans and social documentation is maintained in your own unit and, when needed, in other units. Guide colleagues in pedagogical work based on the user's needs and chosen working methods, and suggest pedagogical solutions. Teach and convey knowledge in working methods, methods, and models, and acquire knowledge when needed. Support and develop change processes. Assist as coordinator and supervisor in the work of monitoring and addressing deviations. You are expected to make your own decisions, within the scope of your mandate, when the situation requires it. Constantly viewing your work from the perspective of the individual's best interest in dialogues about proposals and working methods. Qualifications We see that you have relevant education, such as support educator, occupational therapist, social pedagogue, social worker, leisure-time pedagogue, or educator in special education. We expect you to have professional experience and work experience within the LSS sector. You are familiar with working based on clarifying pedagogy, low-affective communication, AAC, and visual supports. You take responsibility for your work and the overall function of the operations; you are communicative and can work independently and in groups. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are something we see as a prerequisite to work with us. It is advantageous if you have experience with ESL or other working methods that facilitate daily life for individuals. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude toward your work and enjoys meeting people. You see areas for development and take initiative to change them in consultation with colleagues and your manager. The work requires good initiative, a salutogenic perspective on human nature, and high work ethic. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You will need to provide a certificate from the Police's criminal record register.
