Placement: Solvik Group Living Facility We are now seeking a support pedagogue for Solvik Group Living Facility, located in Valjeviken with proximity to forest and sea. Solvik consists of five apartments and a common area in the middle of the building. The work team consists of ten support assistants. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES In the role of support pedagogue, you will provide support and services to adults with functional disabilities. The goal is that you, together with your colleagues, create a safe and meaningful everyday life with quality care. Furthermore, you should be able to see each person's individual needs and be able to conduct pedagogical work based on this. Your work approach should be clarifying and motivating. As a support pedagogue, you participate in daily work in the same way as your support assistant colleagues, but you also have responsibility for developing the pedagogical work at the group living facility. In your pedagogical role, you should be able to guide and mentor your colleagues in their pedagogical work with the residents. You should be able to support your colleagues in creating new implementation plans, improving and developing implementation plans, and improving and developing social documentation. You should be able to implement and follow up evidence-based methods (e.g., low-arousal approach, AAC, clarifying pedagogy). You should also be able to collaborate with healthcare personnel, family members, legal representatives, and other stakeholders. You will work closely with users together with your colleagues and have great responsibility for driving and developing pedagogical work in the activity in consultation with the unit manager. Delegated health and medical care tasks are part of the work. Working hours are arranged for day shifts, evening shifts, and every other weekend. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree from a support pedagogue education program of 200 YH credits or 60 HP within pedagogy with a clear focus on the functional disability field. You also have training in a care program with a focus on functional disability, children and leisure, or other training that the employer deems equivalent. Knowledge of and experience working with the target group within LSS (Swedish disability services act) is a requirement. It is meriting if you have training in and experience with clarifying pedagogy methods and alternative communication such as TEACCH, TAKK, communication mats, social stories, and MI. It is also meriting if you have previously worked with a low-arousal approach and have experience working with people with autism, intellectual disabilities, neuropsychiatric conditions, and challenging behavior. As a person, we hope you are initiative-taking, responsible, structured, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You take independent responsibility for your own work tasks in both success and setback, and you plan and organize your time efficiently. You take responsibility for the common result and do what needs to be done for the organization to achieve its goals. You easily adapt your work approach to changed conditions and pay attention to others' perspectives and competence, giving others in the group space in a way that benefits the whole. We are looking for someone who is structured, responsible, solution-focused, relationship-building, confident in your professional role, and has genuine commitment to developing both users and the activity. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. You have very good ability in Swedish both spoken and written. You have experience with documentation, developing and following up implementation plans. A valid driver's license for manual transmission vehicle is required. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: By agreement. Temporary position for six months. Desired employment level, of which 50% is scheduled at Solvik Group Living Facility.
