The role of support pedagogue with us As a support pedagogue, you have a central role in the operation with particular responsibility for development, quality, and service user focus. You use your advanced pedagogical expertise to ensure that support for each individual is of high quality and is implemented in accordance with applicable implementation plans. You are a pedagogical role model and serve as a mentor for support assistants and support aides in direct user-facing work. In close collaboration with the unit manager, you plan and lead operations meetings, contribute to prioritizations, and drive systematic quality work forward. Part of the assignment involves quality assuring social documentation and following up on implementation plans, as well as contributing a holistic perspective through environmental monitoring and development work. You are also part of the municipality's support pedagogue network that meets a few times per year – a forum for experience sharing, skills development, and joint quality improvement. You are also a priority target group for receiving support from the operations area's methods developer. In the role, you combine development work with direct work with service users, which gives you good insight into daily life and creates the best possible conditions for close, relevant, and sustainable quality work. Your profile You are pleasant and attentive in your interactions and find it easy to collaborate with others. You make new contacts and maintain existing working relationships. You take responsibility for your work, drive it forward, and deliver results. You plan and prioritize your work efficiently. You are open to change, take your own initiatives, and contribute new ideas to the work. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. We are looking for you who have: - a support pedagogue education or equivalent education that is relevant for the target group. It is meriting if you have: - experience working with the target group. - B-level driving license and access to a car. Partly because public transport is not fully developed to the group home. If you don't have a B-level driving license but can get to the group home, especially on weekends and late evenings by other means, you are of course welcome to apply anyway. Within the Department for Individual & Family Care, all employees in Housing with Special Services and Home Support are employed on a full-time basis but have the opportunity to reduce to desired working hours based on operational needs.
