We are now seeking a temporary support assistant for our daily activities program under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). Daily activities are directed at people with disabilities who need support to achieve meaningful and developmental activities in their everyday lives. JOB DUTIES As a support assistant, you work closely with participants and provide individual support in their daily activities. The work involves creating structure, motivation, and participation in various tasks and activities. Job duties include, among other things: • Supporting participants in tasks and activities • Planning and implementing meaningful activities • Working according to implementation plans • Documenting in accordance with applicable legislation and procedures • Collaborating with colleagues, family members, and other professionals The work requires a pedagogical and respectful approach where the participants' self-determination and integrity are at the center. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you if you: • Have education in healthcare and social services, support assistant, childcare and recreation, or other education that the employer deems equivalent • Have experience working with people with disabilities • Have a pedagogical and structured work approach • Are responsible, flexible, and have good collaboration skills • Have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written • Have a B driver's license Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. It is a merit if you have experience working within LSS, knowledge of low-affect communication, and experience with social documentation. Type of employment: Fixed-term contract.
